Hello, my name is Grace Fletcher. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Art Therapist offering holistic therapy and art therapy in Eugene, Oregon. My goal as an art therapist is to provide a safe, warm and compassionate setting in which you feel encouraged and supported throughout your healing journey.
I will work to help you by exploring and releasing the beliefs, patterns, and situations that are causing pain, stress, and suffering. I believe art can enhance the therapy process. Art therapy can bypass conscious limiting beliefs and open the door to a different way of communicating about feelings and experiences by using visual means. Profoundly helpful with trauma, art therapy can be deeply healing and life-changing. No artistic ability is necessary and it is appropriate for all ages.

Shortly after finishing my undergraduate degree, I began volunteering with an art therapist at a local hospital. We took around a cart filled to the brim with art supplies to visit patients. It was during this experience I witnessed the healing and transformative power of art and fell in love with the field.
Art helped the patients I visited find safety at an uncertain time, cope with pain, and express the multitude of emotions they were experiencing. I've used art in my own healing process and am deeply grateful to guide clients to experience the transformative power of art therapy for themselves. A little bit more... I am a midwest native and have lived in a variety of places. I enjoy being in nature, photographing the beautiful Oregon scenery, soaking up sunshine, reading a good book, getting my hands dirty in the garden, playing with my pets, and creating art. |
